I recently moved into the area and decided to check out this restaurant for a drink. Unfortunately, I waited for 5 minutes without anyone even acknowledging my presence. There were only two customers at the bar, and the bartender seemed too preoccupied with complaining about boyfriends and chatting with regulars. After waiting so long, I chose to leave and won’t be coming back. This place used to be wonderful when it was called The Brickhouse, but it’s just not the same anymore.
Had an amazing chicken po boy sandwich here during the Bourbon street experience I hope this becomes a regular menu item it was outstanding
So, my friend Mike and I have gone to Rockhead in the last few months about once a week/2 weeks. Every time we go, we like it more. The servers: Iona, Reese and Raquel (sp? and another young woman whose name I don't... Catch, are all friendly, personable, warm and attentive. The gentlemen in the kitchen (berry guys, I don't know that your names are easy, but make delicious food. The owner, Dave, also serves on Sundays and is as personal as his staff. The food is made fresh and cheap, the beer is cold and the staff is sociable. Definitely my favorite place to come. I highly recommend it.
