Queen Buffet - Windsor
Queen Buffet
Description
While the exterior of the Queen Buffet may not be inviting, the food and service inside tell a different story. Despite some negative reviews about the cleanliness and quality of the food, the restaurant seems to be working hard to improve. Offering unique dishes like Peking Duck and Dim Sum, along with friendly service, the Queen Buffet is trying to make a name for itself in the city. They are also open to cooking fresh food during slow hours to ensure the best quality for customers. While the restaurant may have some areas for improvement, it seems to be on the right track.

Amazing food. Friendly and prompt service by staff. Highly recommend and will return again!
We went on a Monday night for there $9.95 special. It was our first time (and last) there. we didn't expect high ticket items like crab and shrimp dishes but we were expecting food you could eat. all the deep fried items were from frozen pre packaged items. The rest looked and tasted like it came out of a can. the best item on the buffet was the ice cream. If I could give this place less than one star I would.
We went there when it first opened. A lot of the dishes had terrible flavor or it was bland. I didnt enjoy not even one dish there. The wonton soup was probably the worst dish I got. Unfortunately we will definitely not go there again. The service wasn't terrible, but that doesn't make up for the food. If you're looking for a decent Chinese buffet in Windsor I would suggest Garden Buffet on Walker rd.
Went for lunch with a coworker on St Pattys day. Sign at front door states $12.95 for lunch Mon to Fri and $14.95 for Sat Sun and holidays. We proceeded in to eat and a sign at the front of the restaurant states "cash or credit only" with an ATM next to it that charges $1.75 for the transaction even though they have 7 portable machines lined up on the counter to pay by credit with. Not sure why they wouldnt ha e debit. So we ate the food which was alright. Nothing spectacular. Then we get our bills and it shows $14.95 for "Holiday lunch". I inquired about this at the cashier and she says because its St Patricks day. So St Patricks day is now a recognized national holiday. Who knew? Dont know about the cleanliness of anything but the dining room which seemed fairly good and thats all I have to about that.
