The hostess noticed that we had not been attended to by A server in a timely manner and she personally made sure someone took care of us. I felt like she was going above and beyond her job to make sure the restaurant ran well. We had the fried artichoke and the fried calamari was fantastic. For an entrée we shared a awesome lamb chop meal. Food and drinks were awesome!

There is a welcoming spirit when you arrive and the staff honors the historical connection of this restaurant to its Detroit location and the family's commitment to rebuild and quality landmark. The calamari remains a standout choice and I'd also recommend The 1956 Cocktail. Will surely return and recommend!

Additionally, the food is excellent and the atmosphere and ambiance are perfect. An absolute gem. Try the Rocket pizza and house salad! Just like the pizza I ate in Italy! 10/10!
