What Milo merheb dislikes about Basha's:
I order a chicken shawarma sandwich the chicken was so dry and burned from outside garlic paste taste like cornstarch nothing like garlic paste and the French fries was so oily and cooked from the morning. I don't recommend this place to anyone don't waste your time. If I can i will give them half a star. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 View all feedback.

I had a terrible experience at Basha restaurant. When I asked for my bill to reimburse my business expenses, the staff didn't even bother to ask if I needed it. Upon requesting it, a young employee rudely said they didn’t have it and shockingly directed me to the garbage to find it myself. This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I won't be returning.

The shawarma is quite good, but the soup was disappointing. When I mentioned this to the staff member, he insisted that it was fresh. We were also charged extra for lettuce, which was surprising. The staff wasn't the friendliest, but they certainly know how to make a decent shawarma.
I tried Basha's while visiting family in Canada. Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food is one of my favorites, so I had to check this place out. I got the Mixed Grill plate so I could try all three meats. My favorite was the chicken. The plate comes with Fattoush Salad, Garlic Sauce, Pita Bread, Hummus, and Rice. It was all so delicious and very fresh! The restaurant is very modern, clean inside, and the customer service was great. Whenever I am in Ontario again, I will definitely be making a stop at Basha's for some authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.
Our families have ordered from this restaurant several times, and we've always received more food than we anticipated. The flavors are consistently incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant!
This has become our favorite spot for shawarma. I've tried both the beef and chicken shawarma plates, and the meat is incredibly flavorful and almost has a delightful crunch due to the thin slicing, making it especially appetizing. Each plate is served with pickled vegetables, fattoush salad, and whipped garlic. While the sides are tasty, the meat is definitely the highlight. We also order a side of hummus, which is excellent and offers about two servings, though it's never enough for us. I highly recommend adding this to your shawarma plate. The pita, however, is store-bought and doesn’t particularly impress.
Chicken shawarma was lacking flavour. The beef shawarma was tough, and also lacking flavour. The Shish Kafta had great flavour, but was too salty. Hummus was good, but how do you screw up hummus? We had the garlic potatoes. They were soggy, as if the oil was not hot enough when cooked. Service was very friendly, and was given an extra garlic sauce free of charge. Store was very clean!

The best Shawarma I've found in Tecumseh/Windsor! The chicken is juicy and delicious, and they pay attention to your preferences. The staff is very friendly, and the fries are made fresh. This place definitely deserves a 5-star rating!
They are always fast and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. Very accommodating, will make your meal to order (your preference for toppings). Usually take out, have dined in a couple of times but the table and chairs are not very comfortable.
Been going to Basha for years! Not only is their food delish EVERY SINGLE TIME, they have the best customer service!! Every employee welcomes you with a smile and goes out of their way to accommodate you and make you feel fantastic.Best place for shawarma in Tecumseh!!!
I ordered the beef and chicken shawarma platter, and when I requested garlic sauce on top, the staff outright refused. Having dined at numerous Mediterranean restaurants across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, I can confidently say that if a customer asks for garlic sauce to enhance the flavor of the meat—which, by the way, was rather bland—a simple "yes" would have sufficed. They also don’t serve hummus unless you pay extra, which is a new experience for me. While the salad had some flavor, the meat served over rice was quite tasteless. Do I think there's value in what I spent? Absolutely not. Will you be missing out if you decide not to visit? Again, no. If the staff were just a bit more attentive and responsive to customer requests, these small gestures could encourage repeat visits. It seems likely they are missing out on potential loyal customers without realizing it. Overall, it's an average dining experience. Vegetarian options: They offer falafels, which are vegetarian. Parking: There are rows of free parking available.

Been coming here now since it opened. The food is always fresh, and always delicious. The prices are very good as well. Greek salad is amazing. Chicken shawarma delicious. You won't be disappointed dropping in here for a quick lunch.
I first heard about this restaurant from a friend and decided to come here with my family. It exceeded my expectations! The portions are generous for the price, and the food is delicious. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent, and the restaurant's interior was very clean. I highly recommend dining here!
All of us enjoyed our meal kids loved their falafel sandwiches, and husband and I our Shish Kafta wraps. The hummus was creamy, the fattoush salad was fresh and delicious too. Great customer service and a clean and inviting atmosphere. Will give our business to this neighborhood establishment again.
This establishment has the best shawarma in the whole county. The food is amazing, quick and the staff is very friendly. A great place to go if your in a rush or if you want to dine in. Just amazing food all around, highly recommend going here.

I adore falafel, but this place has the most delicious ones I've ever tasted! So flavorful!
Food is very tasty mid-eastern. Cleanliness is impeccable. Service is prompt and friendly. Prices are a little high for what you get. Parking can be problematic during peak times. Miserable background music.
Chicken shawarma was lacking flavourThe beef shawarma was tough, and also lacking flavourThe Shish Kafta had great flavour, but was too salty.
That's what I thought at first but this place is fantastic. The ingredients are fresh and the meat is always tender. All the food is a lot less greasy and less salty than other shawarma places in the area. The portions are excellent. Dine in or takeout and either way you will be happy. Super clean and friendly staff. It sounds too good to be true but it's not. I'd compare it to the Shawarma Palace on Ouellette. Way better than 90% of other places like it including the more formal ones in the city. Definitely try it.
