I really enjoy visiting the Low Road Café. They offer a straightforward yet well-executed menu, and I’m always happy to pop by for breakfast with a friend. I’m giving it four stars because there were a few occasions when I arrived and found the café closed, even though Google Maps indicated that it was open. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Low Road Cafe:
I was not particularly impressed by the food or my coffee. small portions for what they pay and my partner was still very hungry after. the coffee was also quite bitter. there will be another attempt, I think because there was not much service to the time and that could be why our eating was bad. Really inviting and friendly customer service, i would purely just come back because of the service. the food was great, i loved the idea of adding nuts to smashed avo on toast. i only wish the kitchen was open longer.
Love the menu and the atmosphere of the place! Has super convenient and accessible location. The staff are lovely and really make sure to take care of you.
The staff here are incredible—very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend paying a visit!
Low Road has consistently great food, coffee and staff. Have tried most of the breakfast menu items and they taste great. Love the music choices and sassy A frame entries.
Nothing had changed; it’s still a hidden gem located near the train station. It wasn't very busy, likely because it was early Sunday, around 8:00 AM. I looked over the menu board and chose the fruit toast with honey rosewater labneh to accompany a flat white. The beverage arrived first. The light brown coffee had beautiful latte art, served in a green apple-colored cup on a black saucer, creating a nice visual combination that I appreciated. The first sip was smooth and bold, confirming the visual appeal. Next came the fruit toast. Two thick slices of fruit bread were stacked together, topped with honey and rosewater labneh, and garnished with a half slice of lemon. The dish was finished off with a dusting of icing sugar, making for a lovely presentation. Initially, I was worried that the fruit loaf might be hard, but to my delight, it was soft, and the combination of labneh and honey was perfect. Surprisingly, my little bird-like stomach managed to finish it all, leaving no traces of loaf behind. PERFECT! Previous rating: Nov 2017 4.5/5
