The two ladies managing this taverna are so lovely and are serving an amazing and tasty food, with local receipts. Taste and happiness are just meeting and you can see it is not a tourist place as local are there as well to find a little place, just to enjoy the magic of Roma taste!

We love the way they deal with meat (beef, fish, shell, etc. tender but resilient, creamy/rich but not greasy, with fresh vegetables and the best vinegar. Miss it already and definitely will come next time.

The... read more We LOVED Taverna Ripetta, so much so that we returned for lunch the next day. We were greeted at the door by Mo, the owners’ dog, who clearly runs the show. The ambience created by the friendly and always-smiling owners is very welcoming; both for regulars and tourists. The prosciutto and melon is the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve had plenty. All of our dishes were excellent, and portions were perfect, even generous. We will certainly recommend Ripetta to any friends visiting Rome, and hopefully we will be able to return to enjoy it again.
