The vegan options have greatly improved since my last visit. I tried the vegan shakshuka with tofu and was impressed by the fresh preparation, bold flavors, and attractive presentation.

The majority of... read more I recently returned to the Northey St organic market and was pleased to see that the Chai Cafe has reopened under new ownership with a new menu. The majority of the menu is now vegan, which is a positive change from before. I tried the vegan shakshuka with tofu and was impressed. The dish was freshly cooked with delicious bold spices and beautifully presented.

The mostly vegan menu is a step up from the previous version. I tried the vegan Shakshuka with Tofu and found it to be nicely cooked, with a rich aroma of spices and good presentation.
