I know it's an all you can eat, but we didn't go back for seconds..to me too expensive for just one timers....we will stay with Catfish King!

My husband and his family were looking to venture out to unknown territory when we came across this gem! The restaurant is very cute and retro inside. Bigger than it looks from the outside as well. It was decorated with a collection of signs and items over the years including a plane! Definitely a lot to look at while you eat your meal. This is a buffet style restaurant. You pay at the door, and then help yourself to the buffet. There are options like salad, pizza, the entrees of the day, dessert and drinks. The selection wasn't my taste (too southern for me) however my husband's family found it to be amazing! Catfish, chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and more. Mostly self serve, however the service that was provided (filling the buffet, cleaning tables) was great. Cost was also reasonable. (Under $20 per person). I would definitely recommend this place for anyone passing thru.

The staff is amazing and food is delicious! We tried practically everything! Salad, fish, roast beef, chicken fried steak, rolls, green beans, scalloped potatoes, French fries, etc. So friendly and and the variety is great! Something for omnivore and vegan too. Plenty of seating for small and large groups. Inclusive staff, and customers of all kinds. Casual dress, buffet style. Historical ambience and even merchandise for sale. 5 stars Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly, the value for the money was incredible, and the soft serve and cobbler were delightful. A fantastic place overall!

The total for two people came to $48, which felt steep given the experience. The buffet offered a limited selection, and the fish didn’t taste like catfish at all. The heat lamps failed to keep the food warm, and the boiled shrimp was served at room temperature. The dessert was quite unappealing, and the ribs were truly disappointing. On a positive note, the frog legs were enjoyable. The rest of the food was merely average. Considering it was a 45-minute drive from Sherman, I would say it definitely wasn’t worth the trip. I’m baffled by how this place received so many five-star reviews.
