My husband and I hosted our small wedding in Pine Hill this past August, in large part because of the magical aura and warm and friendly people at the Colonial Inn. We even shot some of our wedding portraits here! Holy S*it are you in for a surprise !! let me start by saying it was an interesting stay..lol started out with check in was met by a guy cleaning he's 12 ga. shot gun !! who told his daughter to get us a room. when going to the room on the 2nd floor the floor was creaking like it was going to brake. got to the room, room are very old..wall paper looks like the 1800's pealing in closet... woke in the morning to someth... I had a wonderful stay at the Colonial Inn! The entire space feels reminiscent of my favorite great aunt’s home, filled with charming antiques everywhere. Heather and Steve were fantastic hosts and very accommodating! We even enjoyed a drink in the house. It was lovely to spend time with Sweet Pea the bird and Ella the dog. The food was hot and delicious, the bedding was comfortable, and the water was hot. This cozy, quirky room is conveniently located and could use some updates, but overall, it’s a great place to stay!
We've visited this restaurant twice, and we've decided to make it a weekend tradition every year! It’s a family-friendly spot that serves a delicious homemade breakfast. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like it's from another world—very authentic, almost like stepping into a museum! We absolutely love it! If someone asks why we don’t try somewhere else, the answer is simple: why seek something new when we already adore this place?
Go for the chicken stay for the chicken and they have beer
Awesome spot. Steve and Heather are great hosts. Food, fun and history wrapped in one.
