Bizarre, eclectic, eccentric, unconventional. Unless you are a Time Lord and have been inside of a TARDIS, there is no conventional way to explain this place. It's like taking a tour of the Addams Family mansion. Never rented a room. Never ate there. But the bar experience was fantastic. Embark on a voyage to the Catskills and make this one of your destinations. View all feedback.
If you're tired of the sameness found in chain hotels, this restaurant is a refreshing change. While it may not be brand new or ultra-modern, it fulfills its purpose well and offers a fun and intriguing experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the Colonial Inn! The entire space feels reminiscent of my favorite great aunt’s home, filled with charming antiques everywhere. Heather and Steve were fantastic hosts and very accommodating! We even enjoyed a drink in the house. It was lovely to spend time with Sweet Pea the bird and Ella the dog. The food was hot and delicious, the bedding was comfortable, and the water was hot. This cozy, quirky room is conveniently located and could use some updates, but overall, it’s a great place to stay!
We've visited this restaurant twice, and we've decided to make it a weekend tradition every year! It’s a family-friendly spot that serves a delicious homemade breakfast. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like it's from another world—very authentic, almost like stepping into a museum! We absolutely love it! If someone asks why we don’t try somewhere else, the answer is simple: why seek something new when we already adore this place?
My man and I held our little high time in pine hill last august, in large part because of the magical aura and warm and friendly people in the colonial inn. we have even shot some of our high-time sportsmen here! our friends and family have absolutely loved this quirky and eccentric place, for an experience in contrast to everything else, and prepared some of the best hospitality in catskills.
Incredibly lovely place that can use some updating, but overall has an incredibly strong old-timey, antique-collecting vibe that's unforgettable. The owners are absolute sweethearts and great people to have a good conversation with. Their animals are adorable. My personal favorite is Sweet Pea the bird.
