Although I didn't try the food, they have a pub quiz on Thursdays at 9pm (when the kitchen is closed) which is enjoyable for non-British tourists and a lot of fun. If I had to choose a pub in Windermere, I would say this is the best one. It's cozy with a fire in the winter, but not as dark and gloomy as most pubs.
