Contribute Feedback What LA Howard III likes about Burger King:
I ordered the two Whopper meal deal, but I noticed that the extra onions and pickles were only on one of the sandwiches, not both. Additionally, there were large chunks of lettuce, which would be great for a salad but not really suitable for a sandwich. View all feedback.
What Deontae Fahey doesn't like about Burger King:
Went through the driver thru and not only did they mess up the order, but gave us a order for someone who ordered through the app.. Then we go back to get it corrected and still the order is completely wrong. Apparently people there do not know how to read a receipt and get the order correctly. I will never go there again. After about ten minutes, a staff member came over with a bag of chicken fries, only to tell me they were out of them. Confused, I asked him what he had instead, and he mentioned “spicy chicken fries.” I requested a refund for the chicken fries, but he told me that they couldn’t refund me because the order had already been processed. This didn’t make any sense to me. I then asked what he could do to make up for not having the chicken fries, and he offered to throw in some mozzarella sticks. However, they were cold, just like the burgers we received. Overall, it was a terrible experience. It’s a real shame because we used to enjoy Burger King. From now on, we decided to visit a different location. It was evident there were only two employees working in the restaurant, which may have explained the poor service.
My experience with this Burger King has been quite mixed. On one occasion, I had to wait over 30 minutes in the drive-thru. Even when I pre-ordered via the app, they either didn’t have my order or claimed they never received it. Unfortunately, I had to wait in the drive-thru line since the lobby was usually closed. However, I remember a time when they seemed to be managing things better. I believe there’s potential for improvement, so I’m not ready to give up on them yet.
For the love of god, they need to train their staff on the difference between a simple cheeseburger and a hamburger. Nine times out of ten, I end up getting a hamburger instead of the cheeseburger I ordered. It got so frustrating that I eventually stopped going there. However, today I didn’t have much choice since we were short on time. After a few months of not visiting, I hoped that maybe some of the staff had improved. Clearly, that wasn’t the case. When I go to this place, I have to speak slowly and clearly to ensure they understand my order and any modifications I request.
I visited the drive-thru during lunchtime. Each time, I’m warmly greeted by a friendly young Asian woman at the window. The food always seems to taste even better when she's on duty!
With our lunch options in mind, we decided it would be a great opportunity to explore salads from various chain restaurants throughout the semester. Just to clarify, we purchase these salads late on a Friday night, store them in the fridge at home, and then grab them from a cooler during our Saturday lunchtime. On my way home from work, I stopped by the Burger King on Walzem Road to pick up some salads for the weekend. As it was rush hour, the restaurant was fairly busy, but I checked the restroom and found it reasonably clean. The condiment station was also relatively tidy, despite the crowd, and the lines moved quickly—just typical fast food service. However, the salad options at Burger King are quite limited, with only three choices available. The regular side salad looked rather sparse, so I opted for the other two selections. For my partner, I chose the Chicken, Apple Cranberry Garden Fresh Salad, which I thought he would enjoy. It includes a blend of seven types of lettuce, sliced apples, sweet dried cranberries, and some chunky blue cheese. I went with the tendercrisp chicken for his salad, and it comes with Ken's apple cider vinaigrette dressing. For myself, I selected the Chicken Caesar Garden Fresh Salad. I have a penchant for Caesar salads, and this one turned out to be quite good. It featured romaine lettuce, tomatoes, Parmesan croutons, and shaved Parmesan cheese, topped off with tendergrill chicken. This salad is served with Ken's citrus Caesar vinaigrette, which I found to be tasty. By lunchtime, both salads remained crisp and fresh. These are salads we would definitely consider having again if we find ourselves at a Burger King. Although we enjoyed the dressings, we found there wasn’t quite enough for our taste, so we brought a couple of our own bottles to supplement. Choosing salads for our lunchboxes has been a fantastic idea this semester, allowing us to sample the salad offerings from national chains. They serve as healthier alternatives to the typical burgers from these restaurants.
