It quickly became apparent that t... read more Four of us went to Barnards for breakfast. This was my first time visiting, so I checked the breakfast menu online beforehand. It quickly became apparent that this was not the most affordable option in the area. However, when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the full English breakfast, which was a generous portion, beautifully presented, and served piping hot. Although I don't think I will make it a regular stop due to the prices, I believe it was worth the money. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Th... read more This café is incredibly welcoming! The staff were fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. I stopped by for a coffee and cake and felt very at ease there. They also have thorough safety measures in place to make sure everyone is protected. I would definitely recommend it and will be visiting again!

The staff were helpful and friendly. I also purchased some homemade cake to take away, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Despite living nearby for six months, we had never made the time to visit until now and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and offers lovely views of Denmead church. We also appreciated the nice seating area in the back. The fish and chips and beef pie we ordered were delicious, served with fresh and flavorful vegetables. I also enjoyed a locally brewed ale that was excellent. The staff were polite and attentive. We will definitely be returning to Barnards in the future.
