very good food. in the inner looks a bit like bare food. but eating was the best notch. service was very good. we were there at 2 o'clock, so it wasn't busy. I had the pulled pork sandwich with garnelenbisque. my wife had the Caesar salad with a crabcake. both were perfectly prepared. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Piccadilly's Public House:
Terrible experience. Waited over 90 minutes for food. My crab cakes order was taken but was told 30 minutes later they were out. Ordered a burger instead which arrived stone cold. Parents ordered fish and chips and as the rest of my party received their food, my parents were only then told the fish and chips were frozen and would not be an option. We love sitting at the bar and this bar was great. Plenty of seats. The bartender came over to us right away. We had drinks and food orders in within 10 minutes. I had the burger and fries. Really delicious burger and cooked exactly as ordered. The batter fries were nice and crispy. My husband got the club sandwich and soup of the day which was seafood gumbo. The club sandwich was huge my husband was pleased with it. The gumbo had plenty of spice and was very hearty. We hope to stop in Winchester again and will definitely stop at Piccadilly's. Hopefully next time try the outside seating.
While in Winchester we happened upon this place for lunch… They weren’t busy, but they had a lot of people dining there during lunch time. The venue is in an older house, very nice looking. The menu has several nice handhelds, salads, and many other nice lunch items. Service was great! We were in a hurry, and she did her best to ensure we could get served, eat, and get out as soon as possible. I have to say that all the food was great! Their chicken salad sandwich and wrap were awesome! Nicely done, not too much mayo,, yet a great flavor and not dry! Their salmon BLT was excellent – spot on! And their George Washington Salad was fresh and excellent too! Brooke was excellent as our server!! We enjoyed everything about out visit and I look forward to returning!
