What Anthony Williams doesn't like about La Esperanza:
The food was great! I went in for lunch and the lunch prices are very good and reasonable. I had 3 tacos with rice and beans for $4.99. You could pick any meat you wanted for your tacos. You didn 't have to have the same meat in all three, but I did. I picked the Birria(shredded beef). It was wonderful. The tacos were smaller than what I usually get in a 'mexican ' restaurant, but they were advertising being authenti... View all feedback.
Amazing food and service. The Alcapurrias were delicious and the mofongo is one of the best that I’ve tried with that puertorrican flavor.
I stumbled upon this little restaurant and am so glad I decided to have lunch there. The food was unbelievable. It was the most fresh wonderful food I've eaten at a restaurant in years. The corn tortillas were made fresh by hand and we're too good to be true. I also had an opportunity to speak with an owner that happened to be there at the time and she was just lovely. I am looking at their menu right now and I can't wait to try everything. Now when my family goes out to eat this is where we're going to go every time. Not only was the food incredibly delicious but all of it was very fresh and I took my order to go and they had my order ready so fast. There's not even an excuse to eat fast food anymore because in a pinch you can get it to go and very quickly. This business is just starting out and is Remodeling and this is going to be a hit. I can't wait to tell everyone I know about it.
I went here for the first time today at lunch because I just stumbled upon it while I was running errands and Winchester today. I stopped in for lunch and I'm so glad that I did it. This was the best food that I bought from a restaurant in years. It was incredibly fresh and they make their corn tortillas fresh Everyday by hand. It was so amazing that I just have to share my experience. I was able to speak to one of the owners for a couple minutes while I was there and she's a lovely person also which makes it even better. From now on when my family wants to go out to dinner this is where we're going to go. It's 45 minutes to an hour away from my home and it's worth the trip.
Pupusas are huge, soft, and REALLY good. You can tell they made them to order. We also had the tacos and they were really good with fresh tortillas. I don't know what is in their orange sauce but you want to drink it. The beef soup has things in it like plantains, squash, corn on the cob, and carrots while the beef falls apart like pot roast. The service is fast and all the family members are very sweet. You can tell this place is a family-run hidden gem. I'll be going back with the whole family because I was stuffed and walked away with leftovers for 30$!!!!
Found this place by mistake looking for the old Purivian restaurant. Gave it a shot and so glad I did. I've been back twice in a week. The food is excellent. The Ropa Vieja is what I've gotten both times. I've also tried the steak tacos and the steak quesadilla. Such a hidden gem. Great food and great service.
