This place is a little hidden large sized diner where you can get good food fast and enjoy the very comfortable booths and a delicious cup of joe and homemade desert after lunch! It used to be a Shoneys and so perhaps people haven't discovered that it's here ! It's good though do not pass it by! View all feedback.
What Nora H doesn't like about Apple Blossom:
We've gone to the diner now a few times for dinner. The food is usually pretty good, but the service is somewhat lagging. The waitresses are usually pretty nice, but it usually takes them a while to come around to get the drink orders, and there have been a couple times where we waited and waited, and finally had to ask who our server was. Then someone would come up and get our order. I don't know if they don't decid... View all feedback.
Breakfast and the Apple Blossom is located right off the Interstate which makes it easy and convenient. Not a whole lot of business on this weekday morning, but that meant that I was served quickly, my coffee was kept filled and my breakfast was ready fast too. I didn't need to see the menu, I went right to my usual. Cheese omelet and home fries. It didn't take long for it to appear in the window at the kitchen and then I heard the toaster start. Oops on the timing here. Omelet was tasty and prepared properly. Lots of cheese in this. Yum. The home fries were almost a potato much. Kind of odd, really. I don't know what they were trying to do here, but it was definitely different and not to my own preference. Maybe it's yours. Very inexpensive and filling. It's diner food. Stick to the classics and you'll be fine.

Gus is cooking up some great home cooking. He was kind to come to the counter and check in our meals. Gus said to try the cherry cheese cake... OMG the cherry cheese cake was amazing. Why go to some national chain when you can have great conversation and great food at a charming diner. Our server was Hope. Hope was very helpful. She has a great smile and I believe she is a very nice distraction. Included are pictures of my Cherry Pie and Andy's Cobb Salad.
The Good: The deserts are great. The Greek offerings are pretty good if nothing special. The prices are OK. The Bad: The service is sketchy sometimes I think because they don't have enough servers or cooks when it gets busy. Sometimes the servers are openly bitter and you can hear them scrapping with the kitchen staff. The Ugly: Having food set in front of you that you didn't order and then listening to the server swear up and down that its what you ordered even though other people at your table heard you clearly order something else. When this happens check with nearby tables as most likely you have their order and they will get yours brought to them. Also, audit your bill closely because if you ordered it and never received it you will still get charged for it maybe even something ordered at another nearby table.

Once the food comes, you won't see the waitresses very much either. We usually have had to flag someone down to get the checque. We like the food, we like the location, but there are other places we can eat that will have better service.
