Unfortunately, the restaurant is now closed, and the space has been transformed into a new venue called Domaine Naturaliste. I didn't get a chance to try the Domaine wines, but the food from Knee Deep was absolutely out of this world. I'll really miss it. Rest in peace. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Knee Deep In Margaret River:
Oh dear. Knee deep in 2014 was spectacular, knee deep in 2015 has spectacularly lost the plot. Completely changed a winning formula to yet another Asian inspired menu, average one at that. You are in the wine region, the countryside, bring back the beautifully modern Australian dishes using great locally sourced meats. Leave the Asian cuisine to the cities and stick to what you're brilliant at. Such a shame View all feedback.

Oh my goodness, this place is incredible! The food is absolutely amazing. The celery, rhubarb, and macadamia dessert is to die for. The service is excellent, and the wine selection is fantastic.
This restaurant is a charming, well-designed establishment with an elegant atmosphere and a stunning location. The dishes are impressive, especially for those coming from Perth, as they feature intricate preparations with many ingredients and unusual elements that create unexpected flavors. However, some of the dishes felt underwhelming, lacking the cohesion you would hope for given the effort put into them. Despite this, it still offers a delightful four-star dining experience worth the visit.
While we had no time to taste their delicious looking eating, we loved their wee and the grounds are simply stunning. we went a few on the way from the restaurant that said it was divine! we recommend this weep in any case:
A beautiful lunch. I had the scallops to start and W had the salmon. For mains, I had the stuffed zucchini flowers with soba noodles and asparagus, and W had the beef cheek. Each of these dishes was perfectly balanced. My main dish was very light, tasty and subtly flavoured. The beef cheek was incredibly tender and rich. We also had some sourdough bread with whipped butter which went perfectly with our glasses of wine I had the Chenin Blanc and W had the Kim's Chardonnay. For dessert, I had the peach Melba and W had the coconut sorbet. Both were delightful. Service was excellent friendly, professional and attentive without being overbearing.
