What Richard Remy likes about The Wheatsheaf Inn:
We were staying at Warners Littlevote House Hotel and went on one of their recommended walks which passed through Chilton Foliat. We saw the Wheatcheaf pub and decided to pop in for a drink. It is a lovely traditional building with friendly service and was a prime example of a old fashioned country pub. They did serve food but we did not eat here. View all feedback. What WideiseR doesn't like about The Wheatsheaf Inn:
The food was tasteless. I had the mussels. Obviously frozen as flowery and inedible., the sauce was tasteless. My wife had the cod which had no taste and just placed on a bed of not sure what. My nephew had five slices of tasteless lamb on a bed of ??? for 24.00 quid without sides. Quite ridiculous and with surly service. 150 quid for three was a total waste. Never again.
