Went to have a meal in the pub for the first time for many years as I dont live local and we used to visit family and have meals there, but that evening we arrived and asked to have a meal but apparently the Chef quit so no food, and there was a sign on one of the doors that looked like it been there awhile stating this but not sure how long its been like it but wasnt made to feel that welcome so we had a drink to be... We called in for Sunday Roast, as last time it was superb, and it didn’t disappoint. Lovely roast potatoes, beef that melted in the mouth, and lots of hot fresh vegetables.
