What DrMalc likes about The Hatchet Inn:
Called on a Sunday evening and the place was empty. Very strange. This is a large pub and was told the lunchtime trade was hectic. but quiet that night. Ordered Steak and Ale pie, chips, veg etc. I must say it was very tasty and a great portion. Overall good value for money and a nice pint of real ale!!...Nothing not to enjoy ! View all feedback. What GoldfishWoman doesn't like about The Hatchet Inn:
Delightful pub but the food was absolutely awful. I ordered the salmon fishcakes from the specials menu they were obviously bought from some nasty place that supplies frozen food uniform in shape and vile. The chips were awful too. The salad on the side was the only saving grace. Given it was from the specials board I would have thought they were lovingly handmade. What a shame. Other order was underwhelming as well....
