Contribute FeedbackAt Pizza Express, experiences vary dramatically depending on customer interactions. While the food, including the classic pizzas and starters like dough balls, is often praised for its taste and served fresh, service issues frequently detract from the enjoyment. Reports indicate long wait times for main courses, missed orders, and inattentive staff, particularly towards younger patrons. In stark contrast, some diners celebrate exemplary service, with staff members who enhance the dining experience through attentiveness and personal touches. Overall, Pizza Express has the potential to delight, but inconsistency in service can overshadow the meal.
I went to pizza express salisbury with my 3 teenage friends. we were served quickly with our drinks and starters (even tho she made a joke that we ordered a lot of dough balls despite we bought one portion each)however firstly one portion of dough balls were forgotten and once we asked extremely nicely, she gave us a funny look and said ‘oh. i’m so confused’ we ordered our food and took around 30 minutes to come. we were served our pizzas there was absolutely no cheese on it , the worst pizza i’ve ever had, and the base was burnt. after our food we were eventually in a rush and asked the lady if we could have the bill she said. ‘sorry girls you’re gonna have to wait’. this is still after we had waited 45 minutes. it is evident they hate teenagers despite how kind we were to all of them.
Lovely, friendly staff and really tasty food. Great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend : Couldn’t help but have a dessert :
I visited Pizza express salisbury with 4 friends Saturday night ,we ordered our drinks and starters and they arrived ok , the problem was the main course took 1h 45mins to arrive , they lost the ticket in the kitchen , every time we asked we were kind of ignored as we were teenagers, non of us will be eating at this establishment anytime soon !!
Visited this restaurant with friends and two kids and we were very disappointed. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and so welcoming and kind but the “manager” and kitchen staff were incredibly unprofessional chasing each other around the kitchen talking loudly about personal things. The “manager” stood around drinking coffee, looking at her phone and eating just distracting the other staff. Is this what happens when you leave kids in charge of a restaurant???
The food at Pizza Express was delicious and served piping hot from their standard menu. However, our dining experience was marred by a distracted waitress who seemed more focused on her phone than on attending to the customers.
