This is the first time I’ve been here even though it is local. We went for their big breakfast as we were very hungry and came away happy. The food is freshly cooked, ample portions, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Excellent value for money. The team were working hard and all with a smile. Well done team we will be back! What lilymoon85 doesn't like about Friar Tuck Cafe:
The staff are friendly and service good but I think the price of some of the meals are a tad high. They do offer cheaper alternatives, but we paid over £19.00 for 2 meals, including coffee, which I think is a bit expensive.Perhaps it 's best to stick with the 'specials ' which offer better value. The food is ok but not great. I liked it but I didn 't love it! View all feedback.
If you're lucky you may be able to park outside otherwise park behind Aldi or in the main car park. The cafe looks quite small from outside but its quite deceptive as it goes back a long way and has more tables around the corner.

(If I had one suggestion it would be for a vegetarian brekkie option that didn’t consist of vegetarian sausage but had greens spinach and avocado would be lovely. But I’m probably in the minority here partner very happy with the usual bacon, sausage, hash browns, etc.
I know that this cafe has been running for years. They have quite an extensive menu with competitive prices. The food is cooked to order which is good, hot and filling. The breakfast was very nicely cooked and served with a free refill of tea if required. Nice cafe.
We visited Friar Tuck this morning for breakfast before Stonehenge. It’s a no frills cafe but the breakfast was lovely, really hearty portions and the waitress was really friendly and helpful.
Great selection of food, fun themed cafe. Service could do with being a little more upbeat more smiles please...
