The Swan Inn in Wilton is a tranquil retreat. The service, food, and overall atmosphere are all excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better spot for a Sunday dinner; they truly excel in what they do. I highly recommend it, but be sure to make a reservation in advance. We visited for a Sunday roast after a long walk, and the meal was delightful. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We had to wait over 15 minutes just to ask if we could place our drink order, despite the waitstaff clearly noticing that we were waiting. We had an absolutely beautiful meal with fantastic friendly service. the menu had a lot of variety that would even correspond to the fussiest eaters. I would definitely recommend and we will visit again to try some of the other menu options.
What a great pub, like pubs used to be. Friendly locals, lovely staff, delicious food and all reasonably priced. It's set in a beautiful village too.
Always lovely. Perfect setting and great after a walk with the dog through the surrounding woods and fields. Hearty portions of well cooked food.
Ate here on Saturday night had the steak and ale pie which was homemade and was delicious, my girlfriend had the half chicken and chips which was also delicious. Staff were very good as was the service would recommend this place to anyone.
