I believe the other reviewers were a bit too harsh. Everything we ordered was made to order and incredibly fresh. The fries, both sweet and regular, were not greasy at all. The chicken fingers contained real chicken and were also not greasy. The chili cheese dog was delicious, as was the chicken salad sandwich. We even had authentic Coke from Mexico, sweetened with cane sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. If y... View all feedback.
What Chris C doesn't like about Sim's Old Fashioned Soda Fountain Grill:
The food is ok (at best), but let's be honest--don't come here if you're looking for a mind-blowing gastronomic experience. However, if you want to experience eating a simple snack or sip on a milkshake at an old-school soda fountain counter straight out of the 1950's attached to a functioning pharmacy, then this is your jam. 1.5 star food, 3.5 star ambiance. I got a deal off amazon local so I thought I would try this old time soda fountain cafe/drug store. I decided to go well after lunch with a small mom and pop kind of feel. Looking over a small lunch cafe menu I was looking forward to some good eats with a root beer float to wash it down. The service was awful and the food was even worse. I ordered a chili cheese coney, swapping the chips for a house made salad. Took almost 40 minutes to get our food and my hot dog with chili and nacho cheese reminded me of high school cafeteria food. (My salad never made it to my table) the ketchup on the table was in packets and was so old it was separating in the packet, I asked for some different ketchup but was only given more packets. Nothing special to say about my Float except it was the only thing that was half decent. Overall if your in Wilmore there's a subway down the street, avoid this place like Ebola

Order the pizza and you won't regret it! The atmosphere has a charming old-fashioned soda fountain feel, with friendly staff and a nostalgic gift shop vibe—it's truly an experience you won’t want to miss. The standout pizza is the one topped with honey, pineapple, and bleu cheese. I admit, I’m not a fan of bleu cheese, but they prepare it in such a way that it’s simply delightful. I highly recommend it! Just keep in mind that if you're expecting a fancy restaurant with an extensive menu, you might be disappointed, as this place operates as a pharmacy and corner store. It reminds me of the multipurpose community hub you’d see in *It's A Wonderful Life*, and it excels at making delicious milkshakes and pizza. So, treat yourself to both, enjoy your 45 minutes in this adorable spot, and walk away feeling great about your day!

I got a milkshake from this place and it was absolutely delicious! There's also plenty to see and explore in the store while you wait for your food or drink!
