We visited the restaurant for dinner tonight, and the all-you-can-eat option is fantastic! There’s an impressive variety of both regular and specialty sushi to choose from, along with delicious appetizers, all at a very reasonable price. The lobster is absolutely amazing! The ambiance is beautiful, and the place is impeccably clean. We will definitely be coming back! View all feedback.
What john keomanikhoth doesn't like about Sakura Sushi:
After enjoying a pleasant dinner, I attempted to place a takeout order for my father-in-law. However, after a few minutes of trying to get my order sorted, I decided to tell my waitress to forget it. To my surprise, she had the audacity to ask if I was upset. Well, at that point, I was annoyed! After that, she didn't return to our table. I'd like to mention that while people were ordering individually, the food came... View all feedback.
Haven't gone in awhile so was surprised that the sashimi was not offered for lunch anymore. The appetizers were still great, but the rolls have changed and the better ones were not offered for lunch in my option.Perhaps I will go back for dinner.
Very enjoyable. The sushi here is always excellent, and I have never gotten food poisoning from it unlike some other places. Our server was very nice, and kept an eye on our table without pestering us. Sakura is my sushi restaurant of choice!
Food is excellent. Fish are fresh. Portions are generous. The BBQ squid is a must try. The only negative point I have is their ordering process. Instead of having a paper with all the items listed so we can check off and write how many we want, the waitress stood there and write down what we want very prone to human error. But that's not going to stop me from going back though. First all you can eat sushi restaurant of this caliber in DE, let's keep it open.2023 07 02 Update: Overall, we still enjoyed our dinner but we were disappointed on a couple things 1) although understandably, they put a limit, still a generous limit, on the number of pieces of sashimi you can order before they start charing a .50 per piece fee. 2) the quality of fish was not good at all. They were subpar. The scallops had no taste, tasted like frozen. I hope it's just this one time and not a change of their business model. We'll probably go back but if fish quality is still bad, then probably not.
Nicely designed restaurant for all you can eat sushi plus other entrees. Check off what you would like from the menu card, give to server, and your selections are all made to order. Note that at lunchtime it gets quite busy and some items were missed on my order card.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetable sushi rolls plus yummy tempura and salad options.
I love this restaurant and I haven’t found anywhere else that I enjoy eating sushi at. Long story short, I got the worst food poisoning June 21 2023. Like I knew something was off about the food that night and saw the red flags when I went into the bathroom before I left and there was vomit was everywhere.Never have I ever seen such a thing, let alone at Sakura! Like I always found them to be clean and overall a great experience.I kid you not, I vomited when I got home, before bed, at 3 am I vomited in my mouth and struggled to wake up because I was drowning (my partner got me to roll over to my side) and later I spent over an hour on the bathroom on the floor. I went to work the next day and vomited in front of my office and in the bathroom. Like this was the worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. It probably didn’t help that I ate 5 rolls but that not uncommon for me to do.In the end I was devastated.I’m only posting because I know others have gotten sick and they need to call the state and report for health and safty concerns.
