While some dishes, such as the Lomo Saltado, fell short of traditional flavor, others, like the perfectly marinated rotisserie chicken and vibrant empanadas, received high praise. The ambiance is inviting, and the service is attentive, making it a pleasant stop. Diners appreciate the quick service despite occasional portion size concerns. While some found value in the offerings and enjoyed the flavorful menu, others felt disappointment regarding their expectations. Overall, it’s a charming spot worth considering for those exploring Peruvian flavors.
Quality food from a chef that takes her business seriously.
Food was adequate; Peruvian flavor was not there. Ordered quarter Rotisserie Chiken, Lomo Saltado, and Cebiche. Service was good and so was the atmosphere. Just an FYI for anyone going there for the first time...it's not an actual restaurant. It's a shop among other food shops; food court set up. Better Peruvian at the Chiken House in Newark!
I rarely leave reviews on google. But I really want to recommend this nice place. The chicken was marinated and toasted perfectly! The lady also very nice and patient with everyone!
The food was good. I picked a few items to try. I had the plantains, guacamole, and chicken empanadas. Everything was fairly good. The empanadas were not like the traditional ones I normally get, but I would try them again. The one disappointment is the guacamole did not come with tortilla chips
Great Peruvian healthy fast food option, strongly recommend this place! Make sure you get the chicha morada drink!
