Genki Sushi Bar And Japanese Restaurant

This is the best sushi in the city. great list, super service and really fresh fish. great selection of sushi and sashimi. the products from the kitchen were also delicious. it is very doubtful that I will try another place after eating here. I have run the first and oldest sushi bar in chicago. that was a great sound.

Absolutely everything about this place was amazing. it was very busy when I came in, but I was immediately greeted. my man and I sat as soon as something was available. our server steph was great, helpful and knowledgeable! our eating was phenomenal: steamed emptying app, dripping soup, lachs entree and sushi roll. free caramels for dessert were dangerous tasty and we also ordered chocolate and red bean Japanese ice cream. I was impressed by the way the personal worked together. I think everyone worked at some point, even the cook who was a person in the kitchen, but still did a wonderful job. atmosphere was beautiful, personal was awesome, eating was delicious! The sushi at this restaurant is fantastic! It's the perfect spot for a date night. Make sure to make a reservation in advance!

Good quality fresh fish but very small portions. Very thin slices of tuna on the rolls. Other items great- shrimp special, gyoza, tofu. They could be a bit more generous with the fish portions for the price they charge for speciality rolls.
