Description

Nestled in the heart of the mountains, this restaurant seems to evoke mixed reactions from visitors. While some diners praise the attentive staff, delicious food, and vibrant atmosphere that earned perfect ratings, others recount their experience as a series of disappointments marked by slow service, inattentive waitstaff, and incorrect orders. Guests have noted issues like a lack of basic necessities such as menus and silverware. Despite its potential as a charming dining destination, it appears that inconsistency in service and food quality could overshadow the positive experiences for many. Aim for improvement or be prepared for a potentially frustrating dining affair.

The staff at this restaurant is amazing! We had a wonderful time during lunch. The price per person is between $10-20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5 rating.

Lovely spot that completely ignores its potential. Went there to wait for my family after a day of skiing. Not crowded at all. Within minutes a server came by with a menu and asked if I wanted to order food. I told her I was just going to have a beer. She told me that I would have to go to the bar for that. What? You can bring me food but not a drink? Bar was understaffed and took almost 10 minutes to finally order. $11.88 USD for a can of beer before tip!! I'm from Canada so that worked out to about $17+ cdn. That is insane and gouging pricing considering you can buy a 12 pack of Saranac beer at the local grocery store for about $20 USD. When my wife and son arrived, she ended up paying $33 cdn for two draft beers. I love Whiteface Mountain for skiing, especially when you can get a discounted ski pass but I will never spend an extra nickel at the hill. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I’ve been sitting here for an hour and no waiter has visited us. I’ve resorted to seeing how fast I can grab the empty ketchup bottle to entertain myself while I wait. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
