I really enjoyed the convenience and simplicity of this restaurant. It's ideal for families with kids, as there is a playground located right in front of the dining area. Guests can conveniently park their car right in front of the restaurant, which is great for families with young children. View all feedback.
What Chris doesn't like about The Hungry Trout Resort:
We had dinner on New Year's Eve and were surprised by the lack of prices on the menu. We ended up spending over $700 for five people, without even ordering many drinks. The service was slow as well, taking nearly three hours from 6:30 to 9:20. Unfortunately, the food did not justify the high price. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and location, rating them both a 2 out of 5. View all feedback.
My wife and I ate here yesterday. Food was awesome. We both had the trout, obviously by their name their specialty. We had different plates and were both very happy with our food. Recommended!!
We have dined in the restaurant hungry trout. that was delicious. I wish they had a better wine list on the glass. everything else was great along with the service.

We didn't actually stay here but came for an event. Everything was great especially the Mac and cheese and chicken! Service was fabulous and they have great view!
Tom was a fantastic guide, his knowledge and wisdom of the trout patterns and best places to go between the Saranac an Ausable Rivers was unmatched! He made our trip amazing, and treated us very well. I would reccomend him to anyone, an you'll be rippin lips in no time.
