Don't walk in expecting a fast food convenience experience with plastic wrapped sandwiches and prepared salads. This is authentic Italian, homemade, and absolutely delicious. The prices reflect quality handmade food and a family owned establishment. The staff clearly takes pride in their food and service.

I ordered a half portion of penne pasta with butter for her, which was very... read more I visited Bernard's Cafe Deli for the first time today with my 2-year-old for lunch. I ordered a half portion of penne pasta with butter for her, which was very pricey since they don’t have a kids' menu. I added some parmesan cheese from a container on the table. After piling on the cheese, she happily ate her meal. However, after her second plate, I glanced at the cheese container and was horrified to see a fly trapped inside. It was extremely disgusting. I showed it to the server, who replaced it without issue. We didn’t speak to a manager because we had to leave quickly for her afternoon appointment. I won’t be returning. Spending $25 for one adult and one child only to find a fly in the cheese was really disappointing. I just hope she doesn’t get sick.

My family and I have been coming here for... read more This restaurant is undoubtedly one of my top choices. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the food is exceptional. My family and I have been coming here for more than 15 years, and I still recall the days when they only accepted cash. My kids enjoy it just as much. Whether you opt for the turkey burger, the salad bar, or the homemade pizza, you really can't go wrong. The same servers and cooks have been here for as long as I can remember, which says a lot about the place. Thank you, Bernards!
