Belle's Cafe - Williston
Belle's Cafe
Description
This café offers a warm, charming ambiance with unique decor, creating a homey feel for diners. While the food, particularly the sandwiches, receives praise for its quality and variety, some service issues have been noted, including inconsistent staff attitudes. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, particularly with the windows offering a sunny view, perfect for enjoying a meal year-round. However, limited beverage options and occasional menu confusion detract from the overall experience, leaving room for improvement amidst the café's delights.

The food, service, and prices were excellent in a lovely, homey setting. I visited during the winter, and it was wonderful, but I can only imagine how much better it would be in the summer when you could enjoy a picnic in the park right across the street!
Unfortunately, they are closed for the next seven Saturdays. I've heard great reviews about them and can't wait to give them a try!
The café has a charming old-fashioned ambiance and unique, homey decor, but unfortunately, that's not enough to compensate for the limitations of a menu featuring 1,000 sandwiches yet only one coffee option. Honestly, I could envision this place being a candidate for a Kitchen Nightmares episode.
Service was friendly enough. Did not make up for the sandwiches that could have been made better from the comfort of our own home. The turkey was dry, old and extremely thick. There was no flavor on the Vermonter and the maple condiment tasted very funny. The bread is toasted hard as a rock and hurts your mouth to eat (it’s also not good bread). Everything inside looks like it’s covered in an inch of dust. No organization. Not worth 10 dollars for a sandwich I could make better at home. I would rate 1 star but we didn’t try the soups.
