Willington Pizza House

Used to live in the area and the red potato pizza is a “must have” whenever I come back to the area. It is the best!

I love pizza. I love New York Style, Sicilian style, Chicago Style, Greek Style, New Haven Style, and even the pizza you get in the freezer section at the grocery store. But Willington Pizza, I don’t get the hype. I read the reviews and heard the pizza is award winning. I ordered a pizza with onions, hamburger and sausage, when I tried to pick up a slice all of the toppings slid off and plopped on my plate. What was left was a wet mess of undercooked slop. We tried to put it in our oven to cook it more, it didn’t help. Went to give the crust to my dog and he turned his nose up at it. I realize everyone’s tastes are different and you’re not going to please everyone, but I don’t understand how anyone would find it appetizing. The apps were all delicious, which is why I gave some stars, but the pizza, I just don’t get it. The service was meh, nothing special. I overheard some staff complaining, one of the employees was sleeping standing up at the register which had me worried for his health and silently questioning if he was on drugs, had a health issue or was just really really tired. The atmosphere was ok. Dimly lit with uneven floors. It wasn’t loud which was nice. Overall I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Only because this was not the first time I had a pizza from there that was inedible. I literally threw it in the trash.

Always good food in here. We love their pizza and their gluten-free pizza, as well! Parking: Lots of parking, can get busy on a weekend night, specially when school is in session. Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. Each section of the restaurant is decorated differently. When our kids were young, we spent many dinners playing I spy .

Willington Pizza has always been our favorite spot, when we attend the races at Stafford Speedway ! Parking: Plenty Wheelchair accessibility: Open lot, easy usage
