Beautiful ambience and decor. Good quality food and good value wine. Shut up before 9:00! Salad bar good mozzarella balls and interesting choice. trout and steak main courses delicious and generous portions. Spatburgunder red wine better than most Pinot Noirs offered in France and less than 30 €. We were not offered desserts (why? and desert wine available, but not on the list. 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 2 coffee and good bottle of wine for 86 €. Worth a visit.

In Germany Willingen is a well-known winter sports village. Göbel has more than one hundred and fifty hotel beds and several restaurants in Willingen. We were the main town. We had a nice dinner, some had trout fillet, the rest had deer. I was told that trout was very good, deer was right, but made too good as Germans like it. They have beautiful open wines, but not very extensive wine map, most German. And nice fresh salad bar. The staff was efficient and correct. Prices are quite reasonable.

Not in the hotel, but visited the restaurant. The atmosphere is a little styled, with a traditional layout and feel at it – not involuntary, but do not offer the most character. The food is good, but very large portions – we had appetizers and of course regretted that the decision since the net was more than enough. Service was friendly, but not the most attentive – a little hard to keep even though they had a big group in Fairness and were busy. Would visit again for food – but the rest, not so much.

We had a few days of lunch and dinner here and enjoyed it very much. Food was ok and staff very helpful. Beautiful views and tables outside for the beautiful days.

Did not stay at the hotel but rather visited the restaurant. The atmosphere is a little stilted, with a more traditional layout and feel to it – not unwelcoming, but not offering the most character. The food is good though, very large portions – we had starters and of course regretted that decision since the mains were more than enough. Service was friendly but not the most attentive – a little hard to get hold of, although in fairness they had a large group and were a bit busy. Would visit again for the food – but the rest, not so much.
