Taquitos
Description
Tucked into a friendly neighborhood, this small, family-run Mexican spot earns praise for fresh, authentic flavors—standout tacos, rice and beans, churros, and a beloved Cozumel chimichanga—paired with giant margaritas and an enthusiastic staff. Casual, affordable and takeout-friendly, it’s a local hangout with outdoor seating and a full cocktail and beer selection. Few diners note uneven chimichanga crispiness and occasional seasoning variability. A persistent complaint: irregular and limited hours with no lunch service, making visits hit-or-miss.

The staff were wonderful, the tortas were mouthwatering, and the margaritas—especially the Day of the Dead and the Frieda—were fantastic.
I had a wonderful experience with the fresh and delicious Mexican food. The shrimp quesadillas were particularly delightful! The service was friendly as well.
My friend has recommended this restaurant to me multiple times, highlighting the quality of the food. Unfortunately, I’ve tried to go there several times, but it has always been closed. Their operating hours seem quite inconsistent, and I really wish they offered lunch hours, especially on weekends. Just today, I found out that they won’t open until 5 PM. Customers rely on restaurants to have consistent hours. I look forward to the day when I can finally enjoy their food, and I would love for them to extend their hours beyond 2 PM to 8 PM. My rating reflects my repeated unsuccessful attempts to dine there, rather than the food or service itself.
This place is incredible—definitely the best in town! The food is delicious and fresh. I absolutely love the Cozumel chimichanga, and their rice and beans are fantastic. Everything I've tried has been amazing! They even have a new menu with vegetarian options, so you must try it! The waitress is wonderful and super friendly. And don’t forget to order the 32oz Jumbo margarita; I’m a big fan of the mango flavor!
