However, today I was extremel... read more I've been enjoying meals at The Clock in Williamston for as long as I can remember, and it's always been one of my favorite spots. However, today I was extremely disappointed. We ordered the chili cheeseburger plate, and the quality was very subpar. The meat tasted cheap and was quite unpleasant, the chili was bland and overly greasy, and by the time it reached our table, the bun was saturated with grease. The french fries were undercooked and had a flavor that suggested the frying oil needed changing. This was the worst dining experience we've had in quite a while. I really hope they can improve the quality of their food and find someone who truly knows how to cook! I miss the old Clock that I used to love!

We’ve been hooked... read more We visit this restaurant weekly—honestly, even more often than that! You’ll love everything on the menu and find yourself returning for more. We’ve been hooked ever since our first visit. Their cheeseburger and hamburger steak plate are incredible, but the flounder plate is my absolute favorite! They also serve amazing large shrimp. The staff treats you like family, making you feel right at home. Although there's often a line out the door and the parking lot is full, there's a good reason for it, and the short wait is ALWAYS worth it!

However, after my visit yesterday, I’m not sure what went wrong. The chicken fingers I received were so small they looked more like a kids' meal, yet they were priced the same as always. I don’t get what happened. Don’t get me wrong—this is still a great place to eat, but I can’t justify paying the same price for such tiny chicken strips compared to the monster-sized ones I used to enjoy. I usually share my meal with my granddaughter, and she loves it! The food is still great, but I am feeling disappointed!

Excellent choice! The reason I didn 't give a 5 , is they forgot to bring my food after, I was told to pull to the side. Several other patrons received their food while I was waiting. Not sure why this happened, but was told they had to go to the river to catch my fish! I guess this was why is was hot fresh!

This restaurant has gone from being a 5-star place where you could expect quality food and generous portions to a place that feels like they’re saying, “Take wh... read more This restaurant has gone from being a 5-star place where you could expect quality food and generous portions to a place that feels like they’re saying, “Take what we give you or go somewhere else.” The fries have been reduced to half their original size, and they now charge an extra dollar for the small salad that used to come with the dishes for free. If you order chicken, you can no longer choose the pieces you want. For example, if a child only wants legs, they won't let you swap a leg for a breast. We really need a good family restaurant in Williamston!
