An... read more We wanted to taste the dinner at the Golden Horseshoe and are so glad we did. Our meals last night were delicious, both the salmon and the Brisket rice dish. And the Burrata appetizer to start was equally impressive. The special cocktails were also fantastic. This is a hidden gem in Williamsburg. Kudos to the cook for such a wide and creative menu and warm and welcoming waiting staff. Sally Ken

Everything was amazing and fresh! Chef Meg came out to welcome us at dinner and she was very personal! Such a nice lady and a great cook! Don't forget the blueberry Cobbler bread pudding! Best bread pudding I have EVER!

We thought it would be fun to go to the colonial Williamsburg for our second wedding day. There were so many restaurants to choose from, but fortunately we chose the best! The Golden Hufeisen had great food, great ambience, Ashley, our server gave us a great service and because we mentioned that it was our anniversary, while booking the entire staff at the restaurant made it a point to come wished us a happy anniversary at our table. we had so much fun, and if we are ever back in the area, we will surely visit again! Thanks for making our visit much better. Our culinary experience here was the cherry for our sun!

What made it not great on this visit was service was... read more We eat here often, today’s visit wasn’t its normal good experience. Food as always was good. Fairly priced. What made it not great on this visit was service was extremely slow. The grill wasn’t crowded and there was an over abundance of employees but the majority of them were just standing around doing nothing. Once seated it took 15 minutes to get waited on.
