Francesco's - Williamsburg
Francesco's
Description
Nestled in a cozy setting, this restaurant showcases an inviting ambiance and a reputation for Italian cuisine that's a mixed bag. While some dishes receive high praise—like the chef’s handcrafted veal rollatini and seafood cannelloni—others fall short, particularly the standard pasta and meatballs. Service experiences vary; while many commend the attentive staff, others point to rudeness and long waits. Despite pricing that may raise eyebrows, generous portions and a welcoming atmosphere make for a memorable dining experience. With standout dishes and a charming vibe, it’s a spot worth trying, though one may need to tread carefully with their selections.

One of the best restaurants we've been to in years. The food is superb, the chief is an excellent cook. Truly made from scratch. Would be a total mistake to overlook this restaurant. The service was excellent. On the smaller side which made it nice. We were well attend to. Oh BTW. Excellent pizza also . If I could give Francesco’s more than five stars, I would! This is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the 757. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere transported me straight to Italy—it felt almost holy, like a sacred place for true Italian cuisine. The food was simply the best I have ever eaten in my life. Every bite was perfection, from the rich, flavorful sauces to the perfectly cooked pasta. And don’t even get me started on the garlic bread—it was probably the best I’ve ever had, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavor. The service was just as outstanding. The servers and waiters were amazing, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving. To top it all off, they even box your leftovers for you, ensuring you can enjoy every last bite later. And a special shoutout to the chef, who deserves all the praise in the world for crafting such incredible dishes. Francesco’s is an absolute must-visit—if you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on the best Italian food in the area! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We were looking for a great Italian food experience. We found it! After having traveled in Miami and on board a luxury cruise ship where we experienced incredible Italian food, we were hungry for a flashback to that culinary experience.. and Francesco's delivered. From the homemade bread, the incredible pasta, and the delicious cocktails, everything was perfection. And even though it was the day before Christmas, the service was impeccable and warm and welcoming. Do yourself a favor and check out this neighborhood gem.
