Brickhouse Tavern - Williamsburg
Brickhouse Tavern
Description
**Brickhouse Tavern: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Brickhouse Tavern offers a warm atmosphere complemented by a friendly staff, though the culinary experience can be hit or miss. While some patrons rave about the wings, loaded nachos, and hearty calzones, others find their meals lukewarm and lacking in flavor. Weekend visits may require patience, as service can slow during peak hours. The tavern is also praised for its extensive beer selection and vibrant ambiance, making it a popular spot for sports enthusiasts with screens galore for game days. Overall, while food quality may vary, the lively atmosphere and attentive service make it worth a visit.

We've been to Brickhouse before several times, we go for the wings and pizza. A Saturday is not the night for actually getting food in under an hour. When the food arrived it was hot and fresh, and tasted great. The service was also great as usual. However, management may need to work on ensuring they have enough staff for the Saturday night rush they have. If you want tohave great food and great service Brickhouse has it. Just get there earlier than the bar crowd.
We went to the Brickhouse Tavern on a Sunday because our hotel restaurant was closed. What the heck!. Anyway we went on a whim and because Google had named it one of the top places to go to watch a NFL football game. I kept thinking to myself whathas a Tavern to do with football? Well, I found out it had everything to do with football with screens everywhere that I turnedand a football game from every region on all the tv's you could not miss 1 game if you wanted to. Some of the best people wehave met worked there helping to take our orders and to create an nfl atmosphere with fantastic food and great camaraderie. Fansfrom all football teams were there wearing their gear and we met some great people from the state of North Carolina. Don't missout on a good time by not going there. Pack up your fun and bring it with you to the Brickhouse Tavern Williamsburg. You won'tbe sorry! ????
Absolutely fantastic. I got the lulu burger with fries (recommended by our server) and my wife got a veggie calzone and added sauce and pepperoni. We also got a crazy bread which was pizza size. The food was great... the fries were really good, theburger had a good amount of heat was cooked perfect and tasted great. The calzone, which I tried some of, was stuffed andflavorful. The cheese bread was also very very good. Great crust, so I imagine you can 't go wrong with a pizza either. Theservice was great as well as the atmosphere and the location. 5+ stars. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to place.
Sports Bar Food wasn't bad (wing, burgers and cheesesteaks). Calamari was ok at best. Price was ok. However, we couldn't watch any sports on the TV for 2 reasons. One, we asked our server to put on a specific game by our table and we were told that theywere too busy to get to it. There wasn't a lot of people in the place at all. Maybe 3 tables of customers and some at the barbut plenty of servers. Two, the DirectTV kept going on and off and then just stopped working. A Sports bar that you can'trequest a specific game or watch a game on TV but you can watch CSI and other regular shows. Those shows worked fine on thetv's.
