Rod's was a charming little steakhouse experience in town. We dined there every year during our visits. Unfortunately, it has now closed, and we were disappointed to have to find another place to eat. The other restaurants just don't capture the same atmosphere that Rod's did. I really hope they reopen soon! View all feedback.

My family dined here on December 18th 2007. There was only one server and he had a poor, unprofessional attitude. The rolls were stale, the coffee was cold, and the soup was too salty. For the $20 a plate cost; I expected way higher standards than this. When I complained to the cashier, the waiter started cussing and then stormed off. I have had better food and service from Denny's and I hate Denny's. Chef Ramsey, where are you? Any traveler who visits Williams Arizona is best advised to eat at the McDonald's or Jack in the Box in town then suffer at Rod's.
Great prices....in 1960s. Just found an old menu of theirs. Was planning to take it there and see if they would price match, but just found out they are gone forever.
Sadly it's closed. Pending sale. Came in for Presidents' Day weekend and the sign says it's closed pending sale!!!!
I've been around the world and had all sorts of meals, and the prime rib with green beans paired with the bean soup and dinner rolls was the best meal I have ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating. As soon as the meat went into my mouth it turned into a delicious fluid that slid into the back of my throat and spelunked its way into my digestive system. Tomorrow, the toilet awaits!!!
Our final meal of the trip, after a long day of walking and hiking at Grand Canyon. 4 adults exhausted and hangry. Rod's does not take reservations. We arrived around 6:30 pm and didn't get seated until 7:30pm. We finally sat down and waited 10+ mins for someone to acknowledge us and offer drinks. Although tables were limited and spaced out, it was busy! Lots of people waiting and dining, and looked like only 3 servers. We all ordered a bunch of drinks and apps and cattlemans cut prime rib with baked potato. OMG it was the largest cut they had and we ordered with our stomachs. The meat itself had tons of fat but they seasoned it very well. Shameless to admit, I finished it.....along with my sides, all with a glass of wine. We were thaaat hungry from the day. Despite the long wait, the food was worth it. Hearty, satisfying, and filling. I wouldn't come here expecting a fine dining steakhouse, but a step above Outback. Not too bad for the price.
