Yum Cha House - Willetton

Happy Valentine's Day lunch my wife, who came to the restaurant of the yum cha yesterday, for our special day and what a tasty bite. the restaurant was super busy, but the team worked fantastic and the customer service was great. We first came here. since there was a Monday, some other places were closed in the same block so we decided to give yum cha house an attempt. we had the har gow (damped garnel,) bbq steamed char siu...buns, siew mai, chicken curry puff, steamed radishes cake, tasty custard tarts. we found the caramelized top of the BBQ dogs and chicken curry buffers pretty sweet. I personally enjoyed most of the items we ordered, but the taste of the radishes cake came as quite sharp because of the coarsely crushed daikons. it was good with me, but not so much for the other people at our table. I find the prices quite expensive (about $65 for 9 items a pot of pu’er tee.) the prices were similar to that of 1 michelin stare restaurant, tim ho wan, in singapur.

Food was good, however was disappointed by the average service. We were sat towards the back of the restaurant, and as a result it took on average 20 minutes for any dish that we asked for to arrive.

I had heard great reviews about this place and a friend had recommended it to me, but the food was horrible, as was the service

We have patronised this restaurant many times over the years. The prices have gone up but sadly the service is still non-existent .The taste is still average. The one positive is ample parking spots available.
