Been a few times but disappointed tonight. Ordered fish with potato scallops instead of chips. Got home to discover scallops were virtually raw and almost brick hard. Should have taken back but here was me in front of tv after a long tiring day. if...you are going to be in the restuarant business then rule no 1 is cook the food properly ! !
Keep an eye on what's happening in your own neighborhood and you may be pleasantly surprised. It was hot and I didn't feel like cooking, so I called in at what I suspect is a recent development in Rostrata Ave Shopping Centre, the back part....I ordered a standard pack of fish and chips, salt and vinegar, and scoffed it on the bench outside. It was really nice and guess what it was $2 cheaper than what I am used to paying slightly further away. I learned something here check around and keep an open mind. Fish and chips like this, once a week,is going to save you more than $100 a year. You can give that to the grandchildren at Xmas.
Recently opened and a welcome addition to local fast foods. Asian family run, but with a flair for cooking and serving excellent Fish chips. Stand out service, friendly and helpful. The chips are WAY better than most chip shops, cut to a decent size...and crisp. Excellent! The fish is crisp battered and fish inside. My wife has grilled pink snapper, and she raves about it. Take away only.
Support local businesses. Yes, if good, the last visit was terrible. it tasted as if it were good by, it's best. very disappointed, as there were decent fish and chips. if they want to get loyal customers, do not serve mist.
Love this chippy and travel more than 10mins for Friday night fish chips. whole family grandkids loves willos. never break down again jenny. tao always goes a little extra! paul debbie
