read moreTrinco Star, now renamed Ceylon Taste, is a hidden gem recommended by locals for its affordable and authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. The restaurant has a modest setting and traditional service, catering to Sri Lankan and Indian expats. Dishes like kottu roti, dosa, and beef biryani are highly recommended, with the Sunday lunch buffet offering a variety of options for vegetarians and meat lovers. Despite some inconsistencies in service and ambiance, the delicious and homely flavors of South Indian cuisine shine through, making it a must-try spot for those craving authentic Sri Lankan food in Perth.
