Attended here with my Dad for lunch. The Dosa was huge just like the picture. Only one needed here to fill the tummy gap. Real test is always, will I go back? Definitely Yes. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Kauphy Place:
I gave a take away order. There were four wait people. The girl who took my order put it with the other orders inside and it was forgotten. I waited patiently -the poor girl was taking phone orders and trying to manage as the boy who I think was supposed to be on drinks did nothing to help her. I finally got really frustrated waiting and asked the waitress who came out. They then discovered my order and gave me the g... View all feedback.
I had an excellent first experience at the restaurant today. I really appreciated the option for split billing, which made it easy to pay in a large group. The seating was spacious and we were able to choose our own spot. The menu was impressive with a wide variety of options, including street food and South Indian dishes. I plan to come back and try dishes like the samosa chaat and masala dosa next time. Although the puri seemed tempting, it was a bit pricey for my liking. There were plenty of vegetarian options available, but I decided to go with the butter paneer and garlic naan, as they are my favorites and help me gauge the quality of a restaurant. I did ask the friendly waitress for a spicier paneer, but it wasn't quite strong enough for me and there weren't enough paneer cubes. Overall, it was a fantastic first visit and I will definitely be returning soon with friends. Thank you, Team Kauphy!
Stumbled upon this place while trolling for a feed. It was decent for its price. The chicken tikka was delicious although the sauce was a bit watery. The egg parantha was good with the vege curry. The dosa curry was also quite watery. Not a fan of it. And the mango lassi was just a thick mango yoghurt. I'd come back for the chicken tikka and I will definitely try the biryani too.
I have been to this restaurant twice in one week because it is so good! Last weekend, we attended a Mother's Day High Tea Fundraiser and the service was fantastic. The appetizers pleased all of the guests and everyone loved the masala chai. Today, we stopped by for a quick lunch and the staff were accommodating, whether we had a reservation or not. The service was fast and the food was delicious, as always.
I stopped by for a quick meal. The Uttappam was decent and the sauces were okay. I ordered dahl, a mild spicy coconut mint sauce, and finely ground peanut sauce. The service was good and the dining area was spacious, making it suitable for a family meal. They had a variety of sweet desserts and curry puffs to choose from. They also serve liquor and offer free car parking spaces.
There is parking available outside. The staff were friendly. The food waiting time was reasonable. As far as the food was concerned, I was happy with it. I ordered a chicken and masala dosa and they were both very nice. We also ordered non veg thali which was also good. You can also buy sweets from here.
