What User doesn't like about Hansik Korean Restaurant:
I have only tried the lunch time menu so far. Bulgogi beef and rice was good without being amazing and, another time, the hot and spicy chicken was exactly that and also sweet and sticky - delicious but after attacking the chicken with my hands I soon realised I wouldn't want to eat it in a desert without water close by. The dinner menu has more variety. Good service and nice atmosphere mainly female Asian, a good si... View all feedback.
I once enjoyed dining at this restaurant, but now I would recommend skipping it. We were not provided with water or bowls at the table, and it was difficult to get someone to take our order or clear our plates. The fried food was mediocre, and there was nothing particularly special about it. I couldn't help but feel that perhaps we were not given the best service because we were Australian, or maybe this was just the general attitude of the staff. I suggest trying a different restaurant instead.
Without a doubt, this Korean restaurant in Perth is the best. I brought my friend there for his birthday and we were a bit of a mess, but the staff were incredibly accommodating. They now offer homemade kimchi, which is absolutely delicious. The fried chicken is simply to die for.
Hansik has been in business for a long time and I have always loved the food they offer. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. They also have a nice selection of Korean dishes to choose from, so it's not just limited to pancakes and fried chicken (although those are delicious too).
I must say, the service, presentation, portion, price and atmosphere are amazing. You can never know because after Hansik moved from a small shop to this one, it is more hidden within the suburbs but packed with good stuff. Plenty of parkings outside at night,...no need to worry about parkings. They serve alcoholic beverages too which makes your bbq experience better! Their fried chicken is a must, very special taste. One more good point of the place, it does not smell as bad as the others when you enter and after you exit the restaurant. The ventilation is good.
Enjoyed this restaurant on two separate occasions. Once with my husband and we shared a bbq plate, the other with a large group for a birthday. They catered very well for both. Nice food, a little expensive, but Korean does tend to be higher priced...than most asian cuisine.
