She also tried the fried dill pickles, which she enjoyed. I had the chicken-fried steak dinner, and it was delicious. The steak was nearly the size of a plate! The fried okra was excellent, and the potatoes and white gravy were exactly what I expected to complement a chicken-fried steak dinner. I’m really looking forward to returning to this café!

Both were delicious and based on our experience we will return to a future date.

We went on Saturday night at 7:00. There were only 4 or 5 other tables. We set ourselves and took a seat. The waitress took our beverage order almost immediatel... read more We went on Saturday night at 7:00. There were only 4 or 5 other tables. We set ourselves and took a seat. The waitress took our beverage order almost immediately and quickly returned to our food order. She was kind and did a great job. The restaurant seemed clean. We ordered burgers, one with Curly and one with waffle and one with side salad. The waitress added my salad without gloves and I don't know if she washed her hands. I think she used pliers, but I'd like to see gloves or hand washing. The salad was your average cafe side salad, but the Ranch Dressing was amazing! The pommes were the perfect tasty and tasted fresh, served hot. The burgers were pretty good. They were served on the side with tomatoes, salads and bread/butter bowls. I'm more of a dill pickle on my burgers. Overall a good experience and we will return.

I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was quite a large portion. I wish I had saved some space for dessert, as they all looked delicious.
