She also tried the fried dill pickles, which she enjoyed. I had the chicken-fried steak dinner, and it was delicious. The steak was nearly the size of a plate! The fried okra was excellent, and the potatoes and white gravy were exactly what I expected to complement a chicken-fried steak dinner. I’m really looking forward to returning to this café!

I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was quite a large portion. I wish I had saved some space for dessert, as they all looked delicious.

My only minor issue is that their burgers come with sweet bread-and-butter pickles; I think dill pickles would be a better choice. That said, it’s not a major concern. I didn’t think to ask if they have dill pickles, so they might offer them as an option.
