I almost taste all the food. I like all of them, but my favourite one is chicken karage. Affordable price and the restaurant is located in the middle of Perth City. View all feedback.

The go to place if you are craving for affordable Japanese food in Perth CBD. Most items on the menu is below $10. Food is good and place is generally packed.
My fave cheap eats in Perth. Their chicken karaage and karaage curry is so flavoursome. Big portion as well and they serve free hot tea. Perfect for a cold night
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED <br/ <br/ Taka is one of the Best Japanese places in the city if you ask me personally. It is also very affordable and the serving sizes are generous! <br/ <br/ When I come here I always order the Karaage chicken that comes with rice and miso soup! I would definitely recommend this as the chicken is always cooked to perfection and you can self serve yourself with different suaves. <br/ If not the chicken karaage then I would highly recommend the chicken Katsu or the Katsu don !
We come here a lot for cheap meals and free green tea. The katsu chicken and karaage chicken are favourites, although hit and miss as they precook large batches. So if you’re lucky, you’ll get crunchy, moreish, flavourful fried chicken. If you’re not, then it’ll be cold, oily and a bit soggy. Ah well. So far it’s been 50:50. Katsu-dons are warmed up/freshly prepared so generally better if you like hot chicken. <br/ <br/ Sushi is so-so. Tempura is pleasant. Udon noodles are mediocre. Teriyaki tofu and chicken is alright. Miso Katsu chicken comes with a lovely sauce but it can be a little too salty. Most meals come with rice, shredded cabbage and pickles. The rice can be really dry so a saucier main dish is recommended if you don’t like dry rice (or use your miso soup).<br/ <br/ Recently prices have gone up, and portion sizes come down, but still a good deal for the CBD. If the place is too crowded (as it usually is), I’d suggest getting takeaway and sitting in the nearby Stirling Gardens or the lawn of St Mary’s Cathedral. <br/ <br/ I’m still coming here though. You should too.
