Nana-San - Wilkesboro

I had the enormous pleasure of stopping this restaurant by chance. I'm happy. I had the fish tacos that was decorated with a special spicy fish taco sauce. Wow, it was great. The tortillas were the freshest I ever had. The tacos are so authentic, fresh and clean I thought I was in a 5-star restaurant in Ensenada, or Rosarita, Mexico. The flavors were a bit to be washed. The food didn't feel like I was eating Mexican food in America. That's the best I ever had. I highly recommend it.

I wish I had taken a photo of my full plate before I would dig in, but it looked so good that I couldn't wait to eat! The man who took our order on the counter was super friendly, and our food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The asada tacos were delicious! Can't wait to try other items from the menu.

The first thing we noticed when we came in was the welcoming aroma of freshly baked candy! We were greeted by Juan, who was very friendly and suggested we try the Pupusas. I ordered 3 with cheese, beans and pork and it was so delicious! My fiancée ordered chicken quesadillas, which he also enjoyed well. We tried the cheese bread for dessert, which was amazing melt-in-your-mouth! 10/10 would recommend!

We decided to stop at Mr Toro and drive through Wilkesboro to see the good reviews and were so happy that we did. Super friendly staff and house made tortillas. Everything tasted so fresh and tasteful and the prices were great! Absolutely returning here if we have the chance.

My husband got me a tres leche cake for my birthday. It was wonderful! Delicious and moist with a yummy strawberry and cream filling. We will definitely order another next time!
