The Ole Coffee House - Wildwood

Sometimes, the best dining spots can be found right on the main road. Ole Coffee House in Wildwood, Florida, is a perfect example of this. Don’t judge the restaurant by its exterior; if we had, we would have missed out on one of the finest breakfasts in Central Florida. Located just outside the Villages on Highway 301, the old coffee house stands out with its white and brown facade, reminiscent of better days—both inside and out. This place truly feels like a step back in time. Open since 1946 and under the same ownership for the past 25 years, it maintains an authentic charm. The chairs and tables bear the marks of 50 years of patrons, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere. The dining area is split into two sections: a larger main room with the cash register, and an adjoining room that features a buffet. Our waitress, Wanda, epitomizes southern hospitality, welcoming us right away with water and tea. I ordered my usual unsweetened tea, but it wasn’t until Wanda left that I realized she had mentioned sweet tea. So close! I missed out on mine.

The biscuits here are incredibly soft, fluffy, and made from scratch. The gravy is thick and flavorful. The prices are great for some delicious home-cooked meals! If you're searching for a cozy little spot, this is definitely it!

Excellent breakfast! The menu features omelets, pancakes, and classic dishes. Simple food and service, with no unnecessary extras.

Wow! It was amazing. Buffet is all homemade articles. Just go yourself and see. Omelettes and houseries are also delicious

This little gem of a place had Great food. It has a homelike comfortable feel to it. The staff was friendly. The buffet is stupendous and at a awesome price! It's not a huge buffet but trust me you definitely get enough to eat and choose from. You just can't beat it. We Will definitely be returning hopefully many more times in the future.
