Yesterday I had an ice cream coffee and the South Beach Bowl....sooo good. Today, before we leave, I eat a roasted Pumpernickel bagel with feta, cumber and Dill Cream cheese also fantastic. Great little place with nice people! View all feedback.
What Stewart Wehner doesn't like about Bagel Time Cafe:
it is wonderful that they have made the effort to have a vegan breakfast sandwich, but for my family of 3 to have breakfast it was $44. the vegan breakfast sandwich was $11 and had a vegan sausage patty and some vegan eggs on it. They said it was in the normal way, but they were out. 2 breakfast sandwiches, a bagel with avocado, a side of hash browns, 2 coffees and a juice was $44. I don't want to spend this in a bag... I don't want to spend this in a bagel shop. we sat down and had great breakfast there for this price. the bagels were also not good nj bagels. I'll say they were generous with the hash brew share.
There is now a vegan breakfast sandwich on the menu! comes with vegan egg, avocado, red pfeffer, tomaten and wobbles on the bagel of choice. Otherwise there are limited options
Went in the next season (March) and it was quiet. 5 workers who were watching me were intimidating. the one bagel I wanted was gone at 7:30. the bagels were not light and fluffy. they were dry and simpler. was not too impressed. coffee was good and they have arome they can add (mostly vegan,- it says on the bottle
This restaurant serves the worst bagels I have ever had. The texture is completely off and the service is terrible. On top of that, the prices are too high. I couldn't even finish one bite. The only positive thing is that the place looks nice.
The restaurant is clean with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is delicious, with my favorite being the avocado toast. My husband really enjoyed his blueberry bagel. The only downside is the difficulty in finding parking nearby, and if you do find a spot, it is metered parking so be sure to have quarters ready. Despite this inconvenience, we highly recommend this place for its excellent food.
