I had asked to book a tabl... read more We came here on the first evening of our holiday in Alpbach in August on a Sunday evening, so I don't know if they use support staff. I had asked to book a table forward; on arrival I tried to explain this to the...woman, who was obviously not interested, and was astonishingly fled to decide whether we wanted to sit inside or outside. After that she took 40 minutes to bring all the menus, to work at other tables around us and to restore empty tables at times! while we don't even know we were sitting there waiting. It seemed at times that she tried studiously to catch our eye! Then it took 20 minutes until she came back to take the order. Some of the foods arrived relatively quickly after that, but a member of our party did not receive their dish, and the serving staff did not even notice it until I pointed out. They then returned to the kitchen to get the rest of him 10 minutes later. The food, once at the table, was actually quite good, but unfortunately it could not outweigh the rude and chaotic service we received. The restaurant was not even so busy, and with the two waiters on the staff they should have been able to handle all tables handy. Even the children were outrageous and persevering that we would not return what we did not, although Zirmalm only 10 minutes walk from our accommodation.
