Description

Located within the Town Centre Premier Inn, the Thyme themed restaurant offers a decent all-you-can-eat breakfast for £10. While the accommodation and service are commendable, patrons have noted significant inconsistencies in food quality and presentation. Dishes often lack finesse, with concerns raised over hygiene practices in food handling. Recommendations lean towards dining elsewhere due to undercooked items and a restricted menu that doesn't accommodate adjustments. While some have enjoyed meals here, others found them overpriced for the quality provided. Overall, it's a mixed bag—suitable for a basic meal but not a culinary destination.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The staff were extremely hardworking, friendly, and helpful. Sandy and Will were working that night and they both went above and beyond for every customer.

It is recommended to eat at a different restaurant for your own health and safety. The menu is simple, the dishes are badly cooked and presented. They do not accommodate any changes to the menu, so do not even bother asking for peas.

Located within the Town Centre Premier Inn, this restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat breakfast for £10.00, featuring a selection of full English and Continental items. While the full English might not be the absolute best I've ever had, it certainly wasn't the worst. The staff were delightful, friendly, and attentive.

Terrible handling of food and arrogant staff. This Premier Inn restaurant desperatly needs a visit from the quality control of the PI chain.

I travel to Wigan for hospital appointments from Sunderland and always stay at the Wigan Town Center Premier Inn. This trip as I was recovering from surgery we booked the meal deal and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Breakfast was cooked to order and evening meal was also excellent. We had rump steak and it was cooked to perfection. Can't fault the team here.
